SHORT BIO

In Fall 2006, I joined the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis as an assistant professor. Before that I was a graduate student at Harvard Applied Mathematics in the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences. I worked in the Harvard Robotics Lab under the supervision of Navin Khaneja.

RESEARCH OVERVIEW AND INTERESTS

The focus of our laboratory is on the area of mathematical control, systems science, and optimization. In particular, we are interested in studying the control systems arising from emerging physical and biological applications. Our interests lead to an interdisciplinary research crossing the boundaries of science and engineering.
