    Robert Kinberg (BS EE 1970) practices Intellectual Property law, counsels clients in all aspects of patents, copyrights and trademarks, with a concentration in patent prosecution in diverse electrical and mechanical technologies in the US and foreign countries.

    Stephen G. Kunin (BS EE 1970) is a recognized expert in intellectual property law who worked at the US Patent and Trademark Office for nearly 35 years before moving to private practice.

    Alumnus Profile: Cedric Yu’s Gammapod invention may reduce the need for surgery to treat breast cancer

    Cedric Yu (MS EE 1985, DSc EE 1989) started Xcision Medical Systems, LLC to develop the Gammapod treatment system, and was awarded the University of Maryland system Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2010.

    The Washington University Engineers Without Borders chapter, which renovated an Ethiopian school’s electrical system last year, travelled there this winter and found both evidence of success and room for improvement.

    David Rossetti (BS Applied Math and CS, 1974) recently retired from a long career in software and product development and business management, including vice president positions at Cisco Systems and Strategic Mapping, Inc.

    Albert Yuk Keung Ip (BS CS & Applied Math 1973) is the Executive Director and CEO of Langham Hospitality Investments and adjunct professor of Lingnan University and City University of Hong Kong. He also sits on many business and university boards as well as serves on a number of committees in government.
