Electrical Engineering Ranked High in Average Starting Pay


In an article, written by College Factual and posted on USA Today, Electrical Engineering ranked high on a list of the top 10 highest paying college majors. The number one spot went to Petroleum Engineering with an average starting salary of $89,000, but Electrical Engineering was next on the list with average starting pay of $62,400. The article noted that results varied between schools, but Washington University Electrical Engineering students came out ahead of the curve with average starting salaries of $65,000.
