Anna Etherington (BSSSE 2014) Featured in Momentum

1/15/2014

In the Fall 2013 issue of Momentum, Anna Etherington, a senior systems engineering student also pursuing a minor in operations and supply chain management, was featured in an article along with several other students. The article was entitled “Student Athletes Excel On, Off the Field,” and the article documents the challenges of balancing academics and athletics. In Etherington’s case, the key is time management. Knowing that her schedule will be busier in the spring, she takes “more or harder” courses in the fall to balance the load. All of Etherington’s hard work is paying off, too. In 2013, Etherington was named to both the Capital One Academic All-American Division III Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team and the University Athletic Association President’s Council Scholar-Athlete Team.

For more information on Anna and all the other featured student athletes and for all the other articles in the Fall 2013 issue of Momentum, see the digital copy of the magazine here.
