IEEE student group recognized as one of the top 10 student chapters in the world


Washington University IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers) officers traveled to Texas for the IEEE Region Conference and Awards Ceremony, April 16-18. Students brought three awards back to campus including: 2010 Outstanding Large Student Branch, 2010 Outstanding Student Member (Jeff Feiereisen) and placed second in the Ethics Competition.

With ten IEEE regions across the globe, the WUSTL student branch was one of the ten most successful branches in the world.

Officers include: Sam Fok, Jeffrey Feiereisen, Caroline Fernandez, Ari Kahn, Aaron Mosher, Jeremiah O'Driscoll, David Pilla. Professor Paul Min is the IEEE faculty advisor.
