Annual Rick Grodsky Student Welcome for Electrical & Systems Engineering students

New and returning Electrical & Systems Engineering students are invited to a welcome party Monday, September 8, 2014, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
About Professor Grodsky: H. Richard “Rick” Grodsky, was assistant dean and registrar since 1999, and professor of electrical engineering from 1990 to 1999. He received his bachelor’s (1965), master’s (1967), and doctoral (1971) degrees in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
 
Grodsky had been an adjunct instructor at the School of Engineering from 1966-1971. He formerly was the electrical engineering department’s liaison for the University of Missouri-St. Louis/Washington University Joint Undergraduate Engineering Program.
 
He loved students. After his death in 2002, an endowed fund was established to honor him and sustain this annual student welcome.
